Dr Raman Gupta ,a General Surgeon by profession and serving the humanity for the last 30 years has always been very keen to serve, help and support the needy, impoverished & destitute beings in every way possible. Apart from being a deft surgeon, he has been actively involved in various organizations, to be useful to the society in some way or the other. He has been attached to Manav Adhikar organization, Ek Koshish organization and is still an active part of Rotary International serving at Club, Zonal and district levels.

He himself has served and is still serving in the rural and border area ,providing almost all types of Emergency services to the surrounding areas and has saved innumerable lives ,which would have otherwise been snuffed out due to time and distance to reach city.

His virtues and zest for benevolence, empathy, munificience has always led him to help poor patients, performing free surgeries, organising various free medical & surgical camps.

Endeavors to improve Environment, Water & Sanitation, Basic education & Literacy, traffic regulations, Women empowerment, Maternal and Child health care, promoting peace, supporting the authorities in fighting & prevention of various communicable and non-communicable diseases and in community & economic development. Even during the corona times, Dr Raman was very instrumental in supporting, caring and helping as a doctor, as a social worker utilizing his resources, time and energy.

To continue his selfless service to the society, he has initiated this platform of

‘National Human Rights Welfare Association’a forum whose members are totally dedicated to the service of humanity. This non govt,non-profit organization works with the voluntary donations, charity and is committed to the utmost service.

This selfless service runs in his family.

Dr Raman Gupta’s wife, Dr Anupma Gupta, an important part of this organization, a professor of Anatomy has been the epitome of sacrifice & service above self.

While going on her duty around 3.5 years back,she witnessed a head on collision on road.In her heroic deed of saving the lives of victims,while evacuating them,she was herself run over by a speeding bus.In this tragic event ,she lost both her legs above knee.She herself was saved by a major surgery,her life hanging by a thread.Since that time she has been on a gruelling journey of rehabilitation and prosthetic training. She is on prosthetic limbs now and performing her daily chores by herself and has also resumed her job as a teacher.Honoured by the district and state authorities and many NGO’s.

Her vision and goal is to set up a Prosthetic and rehabilitation centre ,providing all the necessary and state of art facilities to the differently abled.

The overall aim of this organisation is to support,help,provide aid to any being ,who deserves it rightly.
